Automations

Set up recurring AI-powered workflows that run on your schedule.

Automations

Hand off your most repetitive work - weekly SEO reports, daily competitor checks, monthly content calendars - and have it done automatically. You define the task once, set a schedule, and Hubi takes it from there.

Find them under Capabilities > Automations. Every scheduled run also appears in your Calendar.

How Automations Work

Each automation has three core parts:

  • Execution prompt - the standing instruction Hubi runs each time: "Every Monday, compile a report on our top five competitors' new content."
  • Schedule - when and how often it runs.
  • Delivery and review - where the result goes, and whether Hubi acts straight away or waits for your sign-off. Anything that would send, publish, or overwrite something you have not seen is set to wait for review by default.

Creating an Automation

Ask Hubi (the usual way): describe what you want. "Create an automation that sends me a weekly competitor analysis every Monday morning." Hubi confirms the task, the cadence, and where it should land, then creates it.

Hubi also offers one at the right moment on its own - after a report you liked, after the first pitch goes out, after the first article is published. That offer comes once, only after the work actually succeeded, and only if a matching routine does not already exist.

Tips for execution prompts: be specific. State the output format you want, reference the data sources or integrations to use, and include constraints like length, structure, or tone.

Schedule Options

Automations run on the same cadences as Jobs: only on request, monthly, weekly, weekends, daily, every two hours, hourly, or as often as every 30, 15, or 10 minutes. Cadences of once a day or slower also let you pick a time of day.

Times follow your workspace timezone, which you can change in Settings.

Automations Created for You

Some are created without you asking:

  • The Automate step of an SEO goal creates a Job for that routine directly.
  • Plans built by Hubi's SEO tools add their own calendar entries - one Create task per planned article, one Prepare outreach task per prospect. These draft the work on schedule; they never send anything on their own.

Managing Automations

From Capabilities > Automations:

  • Edit - update the name, description, or execution prompt. Changes take effect on the next run.
  • Run history - see every past execution with timestamp, status, and output. Runs waiting on you are marked Ready to review.
  • Ask Hubi - open a conversation with the automation's context to improve or troubleshoot it.
  • Pause or resume - temporarily stop scheduled runs without deleting anything.
  • Delete - permanently remove the automation and its run history.

Plan Requirement

Scheduled automations are available on paid plans. See Settings for what your plan includes.
