Optimize Your SEO
Where to start with SEO in Hubi, and what to ask for when you want something specific.
Optimize Your SEO
Hubi handles the full SEO workflow. There are two ways to work: follow the goals Hubi builds from your website, or just ask for the piece you need.
Start with the Goals
The fastest path is the SEO folder. Hubi reads your site and writes the plans, then each goal becomes a short checklist you work through with it:
- Get found on Google - read the article plan and the backlink plan, publish the first articles, get the first pitches out, then put both on a schedule.
- Get recommended by AI - see whether ChatGPT and Gemini name you, then work the plan that gets you into those answers.
Open Brain > Professions > SEO, or the Goals tab on the home dashboard. If nothing has been built yet, enter your website and Hubi builds it.
Or Just Ask
Everything below works in any conversation - dashboard, mobile, Slack, or Teams.
Audit a Site
"Audit our homepage for SEO and conversion. Cover heading structure, meta tags, schema markup, and anything blocking the sales path."
Hubi runs a real audit against the page rather than guessing, and reports what it actually checked. Findings land in a Website Growth Audit file, and the fixes go into a Technical SEO Plan.
Research Keywords and Plan Content
"Build me a blog content plan for the next quarter."
Hubi writes a Blog Content Plan: the articles, their target keywords with real search volumes, and a publishing schedule. The plan also adds one calendar task per article, so the work shows up in your Calendar.
Write and Publish
"Write the first article from my blog plan."
Hubi writes it in full on the canvas, applying your article voice, and files it in the Brain. Then publish it - see Publish Your Articles.
Check Your Traffic
Connect Google Analytics and Google Search Console from Capabilities > Integrations, then ask:
"Walk me through my search traffic - which queries and pages are closest to winning more clicks?"
Hubi reads the real numbers, never invents them, and can put a weekly summary in your inbox.
Monitor Competitors
"Analyze what new content [competitor URL] published this month and identify keywords we should target."
Set the Rules Hubi Must Follow
The SEO folder's Preferences carry a What we cannot say section: titles your business does not hold, claims it cannot make, topics it is barred from. Every line you write there is a hard rule for keywords, articles, and pitches. It is the single highest-value thing to fill in before Hubi writes anything.
Your article voice lives in How your articles should sound - style, language, who is writing, length, how pieces end, and your rules. Edit it directly, or ask Hubi to refine it with you. It is applied to every article automatically.
Make It Recurring
Turn any of it into a Job: publish a blog post weekly, manage backlinks monthly, re-check AI visibility weekly, email the traffic summary every Monday. The Automate step of each goal creates the job for you, or just ask.
Pro Tips
- Install the deep-dive skills - SEO Audit, Content Strategy, Programmatic SEO, and Schema Markup from Skills.
- Combine with social - after publishing an article, ask Hubi to create social posts promoting it. See Schedule Your Social Media Post.
- Keep your positioning in the Brain - target audience, competitors, and what makes you different, so every piece of content starts from it.
