Preferences

Tell Hubi how to behave, for you and for your whole workspace.

Preferences

Preferences tell Hubi how to behave - the tone it writes in, the rules it must follow, and the context it should assume. They live in your Brain and apply per folder, for you personally, and for the whole workspace.

Open a preference card to edit it. Changes save as you go and take effect in your next conversation.

Your Preferences

Found in the My Preferences folder. These are private to you:

  • About you - who you are and what you work on. Hubi reads this to tailor its answers.
  • How Hubi communicates - message length, formatting, and email tone - how Hubi talks to you.
  • Your rules - hard rules Hubi must follow when working with you.
  • Hubi's notes about you - what Hubi learned from your conversations. Written by Hubi, yours to review or clean up. See Memory (Hubi's notes).

Workspace Preferences

Found in the Workspace Preferences folder. These apply to everyone in the workspace:

  • Workspace guidance - shared guidance Hubi follows for the whole team.
  • Hubi's notes about this workspace - what Hubi learned about your team and company. Written by Hubi, yours to review or clean up.

Per-Folder Guidance

Any Knowledge folder can carry its own guidance - notes Hubi follows whenever it works in that folder's context. This is how a #seo folder can push Hubi toward a specific style without affecting the rest of your workspace.

Personal vs. Workspace

Personal preferences only shape your own conversations. Workspace preferences shape everyone's. When the two could conflict, your personal rules win for your chats, while workspace guidance keeps the whole team consistent.
