Find Companies to Sell To

Hubi turns your website into an outbound list: who you sell to, which companies match, who to write to there, and what to say. Everything lands in the Sales folder of your Brain.

1. Confirm Who You Sell To

Open Brain > Professions > Sales and read Who to sell to.

Each row is a group Hubi read off your site, with what that group would buy and the page the claim came from. Rows marked guess are Hubi extrapolating, and it says so rather than presenting a hunch with the same confidence as a fact.

Correct anything that is off. This file is an input as much as an output, so editing it and selecting Run again on the folder is how you change who Hubi looks for. The Improve who we target button on the file does the same thing conversationally: Hubi asks two or three short questions and sharpens the definitions with you.

Confirming the audience before any company is looked up is deliberate. It is the honest order, and it stops a search running against the wrong people.

2. Read the Companies

Companies to contact is a table, one row per company: what they do, size, location, the contact and their verified email where one was found, why they are worth writing to, and the action to take.

The email column never hedges. It holds a verified address or the words no verified email found. Hubi does not guess or pattern-build an address.

3. Draft the Emails

Select Write emails to these companies on the file.

Hubi goes company by company and drafts a short, personal email for each - in your website's language, referencing what that company does and why you are relevant to them. Before it writes anything it reads the How We Sell section of the folder's guidance, so your positioning and rules carry into every draft.

Every draft is shown to you. Hubi sends only after you approve that exact draft. With no email integration connected, it either helps you connect one from Capabilities > Integrations or hands you the drafts to send yourself.

4. Search for More

Ask Hubi directly in any conversation:

"Find contacts at ecommerce companies in Germany with 50 to 200 employees, targeting heads of marketing."

The search runs in the background because a full one takes minutes. Hubi confirms it has started and tells you where the result will arrive:

  • Web and mobile - the results card in the chat fills in on its own.
  • Slack and Teams - Hubi posts the results as a reply in the same thread when the search finishes.

You can keep working, or close the tab, while it runs.

5. Save Your Ideal Customer Profile

After a search you defined personas for, Hubi offers to remember them. It writes an Ideal Customer Profile file into the Sales folder and reads it before asking you anything next time, so later searches only ask about what is missing.

Tips

  • Ask for a different page, not the same search. Identical criteria return an identical list. When you want more, say so - Hubi moves to the next page of results and excludes what you have already seen.
  • Change the criteria to change the outcome. A different industry, size, or location starts a fresh search from the top.
  • Nobody had a usable email? Widen the personas or their seniority - adding Director alongside VP often unlocks a list.
