Getting Started

Getting up and running with Hubi takes just a few minutes. New workspaces start in Slack - here is the fast track.

1. Connect Slack

When you sign up, Hubi introduces itself to your team:

On the Introduce Hubi to your team screen, choose Continue with Slack.
Authorize Hubi in the Slack window that opens.
You start with $20 in free credits to try things out.

2. Invite Hubi to Your Channels

Next, on Invite Hubi to your channels, choose how much access to give Hubi:

Invite to all public channels - the quickest way to get Hubi working everywhere.
Select channels - pick exactly which channels Hubi can see. You can always change this later, and remove Hubi from any channel anytime.

3. Tell Hubi About Your Company

Hubi asks a few quick questions so it can tailor its work:

Company name - what your company is called.
Location and language - where you are based and the language Hubi should use.
Website - your site, if you have one. Hubi reads it to pre-fill your details, so review and tweak anything that looks off.
What you do - a short description of your business.

This seeds your workspace Brain, so every conversation starts with context.

4. Optional - Set Up Your Brand

If you have a website, Hubi can set up your brand: upload a logo, confirm your color palette, and choose a brand voice. These power on-brand content and design from day one. You can skip this and add it later in the Brain.

5. Say Hi to Hubi

When setup is done, you will land on Say Hi to Hubi in Slack:

Open Slack to message Hubi in your workspace, or
Go to web app to use the full dashboard.

In Slack, mention @Hubi or DM it like any teammate. In the dashboard, the sidebar is your home base - Conversations, Brain (Jobs, Knowledge, and Preferences), Calendar, Capabilities (Integrations, Skills, and more), and Settings.

Troubleshooting

Slack connection cancelled? No problem - you can start the connection again anytime from the same screen or from Capabilities > Integrations.
Hubi not responding in a channel? Make sure @Hubi has been invited to that channel.
Credit limit reached? Open Settings > Billing to add credits or upgrade your plan.
