SEO
The SEO folder, your goals, and the plans Hubi builds from your website.
SEO
Hubi's SEO work lives in one place: the SEO folder in your Brain. Hubi reads your website, writes the plans, and then does the work with you - articles, backlink pitches, and getting your site named when buyers ask ChatGPT or Gemini.
Open it from the dashboard sidebar: Brain > Professions > SEO. The same goals also appear on the Goals tab of your home dashboard, so you can pick up the next step without opening the Brain.
How It Starts
Hubi builds the folder from your domain. That happens automatically if you came in through the SEO flow on the website, and you can start or re-run it yourself:
- Open Brain > SEO.
- If nothing has been built yet, enter your website and start the build.
- Hubi reads your site and fills the folder. The card shows Reading yourdomain.com with a progress bar and a "3 of 4 ready" style count while it works.
Once it is done, the header reads Built from yourdomain.com. The refresh icon next to it runs the whole build again on the same domain - useful after a redesign or a repositioning.
The build reads your public website. It does not need any integration, and it does not touch your CMS.
Your Goals
The folder opens on Your goals. Each goal is an outcome, not a feature, and expands into a short checklist:
| Goal | What it works toward |
|---|---|
| Get found on Google | Articles that rank, and links from sites that already rank. |
| Get recommended by AI | Your site named when buyers ask ChatGPT or Gemini what to buy. |
Every checklist is grouped into three sections:
- Analyze - read what Hubi found. Opening the plan is the step.
- Act - do the work. Each of these opens a Hubi conversation with the file already in context and the first request already sent, so you land mid-conversation instead of at a blank box.
- Automate - turn the work into a recurring Job so it keeps going without you.
Steps tick themselves off as the real thing happens. A progress ring at the top of the Goals tab shows how many tasks are done across every goal, and the tab disappears once you have finished them all.
What Is in the Folder
The build writes these files. They are managed by Hubi's SEO tools, so you read and act on them rather than editing them by hand.
| File | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Blog Content Plan | The articles to write, each with its target keyword, angle, and publish date. The closing Keywords this plan is built on section is the keyword research behind it. |
| Backlink Plan | Who links to the sites ranking above you, and where your link profile falls short. It deliberately carries no list of sites to pitch - those are worked out fresh when outreach starts, so they are never stale. |
| How your articles should sound | Your article voice as a short form: style, language, who is writing, length, how pieces end, and your rules. This is the one file you edit freely, and Hubi applies it to every article automatically. |
| AI Search Visibility | Which buyer questions ChatGPT and Gemini name you for, which they miss you on, and who they recommend instead. |
Ask Hubi and it will add more as the work needs them: a Website Growth Audit, a Technical SEO Plan, Site traffic audit and Search traffic audit (these two read your Google Analytics and Google Search Console), and Daily results.
Buttons on the Files
Open any of these files and Hubi offers the next step right on it:
- Blog Content Plan offers Write my first articles.
- Backlink Plan offers Start getting backlinks from related sites.
- Reports (AI Search Visibility, traffic audits, growth audit, daily results) offer Talk with Hubi.
A button that is still greyed out means Hubi has not finished the piece it depends on, and the text under it says what it is waiting for. A red dot on a file in the review list means its step has not been started yet.
Writing and Publishing Articles
Ask for articles, or use Write my first articles on the Blog Content Plan. Hubi writes them one at a time, starting with the earliest scheduled piece, and waits for your go between articles. Each one opens on the canvas and is filed in your Brain for review - nothing is pasted into the chat.
When a draft is right, publish it. See Publish Your Articles for where they can go.
Backlink Outreach
Start getting backlinks from related sites does the finding, the contact work, and the drafting in one pass, then comes back with a single reply:
- Listings to claim - directories and lists that need no permission. Hubi submits these itself.
- Reachable by email - sites with a verified address, and the measured reason each one is on the list.
- Reachable through their form - no published address, so the same pitch goes through their contact form.
- Can't reach yet - neither an address nor a form.
- The first pitch, written and ready.
Nothing is sent without your approval. Addresses are looked up, never guessed. Connect Gmail from Capabilities > Integrations if you want Hubi to send the addressed pitches for you; the contact-form ones and the listings go out either way.
Getting Named by ChatGPT and Gemini
The AI Search Visibility report shows where you stand today. From there:
- Add more buyer questions and have Hubi check them.
- Run the plan: audit the "best X" listicles the assistants read, pitch to be added to them, and write answer pages for the questions you are missing from.
- Put a weekly re-check on a schedule so you get an email with only what moved.
See Get Recommended by AI for the walkthrough.
Making It Recurring
Every goal ends with an Automate step that creates a Job for you: publish a blog post weekly, manage backlinks monthly, re-check AI visibility weekly. The plans Hubi builds also add their own entries to your Calendar - one per article to write, one per prospect to prepare outreach for.
In Slack and Teams
The goal screens are a web and mobile surface. In Slack or Teams, ask Hubi for the same work in your own words ("let's start getting backlinks", "write the first article from my blog plan") and it runs the identical steps, replying in the thread and linking you to the file in the Brain when there is something to look at.
