Shopify

Connect your Shopify store and let Hubi manage orders, products, and content.

Hubi has a native Shopify app. Connect your store and Hubi can read and write data on your behalf - manage orders, products, customers, discounts, themes, and store content - and you can run Jobs and chat with Hubi without leaving the Shopify admin.

What Hubi Can Do in Your Store

  • Orders, customers, and discounts - look them up, summarize them, and make changes.
  • Products - read and update product data.
  • Themes and content - edit themes, pages, and online store content.
  • Run Jobs - kick off pre-built workflows straight from the Shopify admin.
  • Chat with Hubi - open your workspace to brief Hubi and watch it work.

Install and Connect

  1. Install Hubi from the Shopify App Store (apps.shopify.com/hubi).
  2. In your Shopify admin, open the Hubi app and choose Open Gethubi.ai to get a pairing code. This opens Gethubi.ai in a new tab.
  3. Sign in (or create a free account), then pick the workspace that should own this store.
  4. Copy the pairing code Gethubi.ai shows you. It is valid for about 15 minutes.
  5. Switch back to the Shopify admin, paste the code into the Hubi app, and click Verify and connect.

Once connected, the Hubi app confirms which Gethubi.ai workspace owns the store.

Inside the Shopify App

The embedded Hubi app gives merchants a few tabs:

  • Jobs - run and complete Jobs without leaving Shopify.
  • Chat with Hubi - opens your Hubi workspace in a new tab.
  • Plans & billing - manage your subscription through Shopify.

Manage the Connection

You can also see Shopify in the web dashboard under Capabilities > Integrations, where it shows as connected to your store. To unlink, disconnect from there or from the Hubi app in your Shopify admin. Disconnecting stops Hubi's access to the store but does not delete anything in Shopify.

Shopify vs. the App Integration

This native app is different from connecting Shopify as a regular app integration. The native app runs inside the Shopify admin and is the recommended path for merchants. The app integration is the general OAuth connection used alongside the 1,000+ other tools Hubi supports.
