Notification Center

The bell icon in your dashboard - unread items, follow-up reminders, and mobile push.

Notification Center

The Notification Center is where Hubi tells you what's happened while you were away - completed automations, finished skill gym runs, follow-up reminders, and platform updates. Notifications are per workspace member, so what you see is what's relevant to you, not the whole team.

Opening the Bell

The notification bell sits in the top-right of the dashboard header (web) and at the top of the home tab (mobile). A small dot or number indicates unread items.

Tap the bell to slide open the panel. Tap anywhere outside it to close.

What You'll See

The panel is split into two sections:

  • Unread - New notifications at the top, grouped by recency.
  • Earlier - Read notifications, collapsed below.

In-progress activity (like a Skill Gym run that's still extracting your skill) appears with a small spinner and a status label so you know something is still cooking.

Common Notification Types

  • Completed automations and their results
  • Follow-up task reminders
  • Skill Gym progress and completion
  • Integration status changes (newly connected, expired, error)
  • Account and billing updates
  • Platform announcements

Actions

  • Tap a notification to jump to the thing it's about (conversation, automation, skill, etc.).
  • Dismiss to remove a single notification from the unread list.
  • Mark all as read to clear the unread badge in one go.
  • Load more to see older history.

Categories and Toggles

Notifications are organized into three categories you can turn on or off in Settings:

  • General - Account, workspace, and platform updates (on by default).
  • Follow-up Tasks - Reminders and results for tasks and automations.
  • Marketing - Tips, feature announcements, and offers.

Changes take effect immediately.

Mobile Push Notifications

The mobile app (iOS and Android) also sends native push notifications for the same categories - new messages, follow-up reminders, skill completions, and integration changes - so you don't have to keep the app open to know what's happening.

Mobile Settings > Notifications lets you toggle each category, and your phone's OS settings control whether they appear at all. If you've granted permission and aren't getting pushes, double-check both your in-app toggles and your phone's notification permissions for the Hubi app.
